I would make another labor day, but in about the second or third Monday of April. The weather is, in general, pretty darn nice in most the country. I would also mandate that essential businesses should pay time and a half on labor days. In particular grocery stores, medical support staff, and truck stop workers.

People everywhere need a few more three day weekends. Plus it’s an extra day off to focus on your taxes before April 15th.
