No particular shade towards you OP but I feel like I see this sentiment a lot and at least for this group I think it’s somewhat barking up the wrong tree. Basically everyone here knows that the Democratic Party is complicit and doesn’t care about them; doesn’t really change the fact that harm reduction via voting D is still important

Well we’re in this mess for a lot of reasons but as we try to find our way out are you seriously suggesting that people don’t vote? Or so I don’t put words in your mouth what are you suggesting here?

I'm suggesting you take responsibility for voting for someone that committed genocide due to your harm reduction strategy and only vote for people that have acted on principles, rather than trying to continuing your fails strategy.

Dude that’s great in theory but in practice we don’t get to vote for people who only act on principles, those people don’t make it onto the ballot. I’m as disgusted with that reality as you are but it’s the truth. So practically speaking when an establishment democrat and establishment republicans are on the ticket, what do you do? Abstain? Vote 3rd party? Suck it up and vote for the less bad of the two? What?
