And then they’ll jeer at you for saying that AI is an existential threat. As if there’s some sort of natural law that prevents malicious AIs.

tbh I think LLMs are going to get corrected. Most LLMs have hit their limit (as much as we know) and the financial part of LLMs isn’t really feasible. I think people want to mechanize human existence and that’s why it’s bad. I won’t call it AI bc LLMs have no intelligence, they don’t think, it’s just an imitator of human work. I think people’s values is more of the problem that AI shows us. That being said I’m not a big fan of LLMs.
