Can someone explain this “if democrats had just let him win in 2020 this wouldn’t happen” take? It doesn’t make sense to me

I think at least Trump would be fairly more pro vaccine, so presumably RFK jr wouldn’t be the health secretary. Operation warp speed was actually largely successful. We got vaccines out quickly and to people who needed it Other than that idk.

Idk if he would’ve had the support (or motives) for what ice is currently doing if he had won in 2020. If I’m remembering right, immigration and his wall plans kinda fell to the side during Covid’s outbreak

Title 42 allowed him to turn away anyone at the border. That was good enough for him. He didn’t even have to detain them or give them a hearing
