ive seen some people try and say that the no kings protests had low turnout and no one cares that much. like guys let’s be real here. both the no kings protests are in the top 5 for largest protests in US history

The turnout was MASSIVE. And the sheer number of protests- there was even one in my small, random suburban town

I have been thinking that many large decentralized protests might be harder to visualize for some people than if we do one giant one. Seeing a bunch of videos of healthy crowds is one thing, but it’s hard to conceptualize the full size, even for myself trying to gauge. All those people filling the national mall and side streets would be incredible. Plus, we could compare it to this:

I’m sure I haven’t seen videos from every single town that had a protest, I know it was a lot, but there’s not one “holy shit!” video or photo.
