For anyone new to protesting: 1 - bring buckets of water and heat proof gloves plus a full sealed air mask for tear gas grenades 2 - COVER YOUR ENTIRE FACE. Image recognition can determine your identity if only your eyes are showing. It is not safe to protest (even in a standard march) without full face coverings. Our 1st amendment rights are in question right now

i'm not an expert but something tells me that them going to that defensive posture means they're on the backfoot. maybe not losing but that's LAPD so winning for them usually looks like them beating the shit out of every soul in sight so i wouldn't say they're winning
