Why are they demoing part of the White House to build a ballroom while the government is shutdown. Snaps, social security and disability benefits are running out.

You know the expression is “couldn’t care less,” right?

I don’t give a fuck which pedophiles you support. Don’t look like a god damn moron when you write.

Actually, while “couldn’t care less” is grammatically correct and gets the meaning across, “could care less” is also an acceptable and understood phrase in American English despite meaning the opposite.

Notice how the rightoids will always argue meaningless semantics whenever they’re cornered. They have literal brain and will argue as hominem because they know facts and evidence aren’t on their side.

I literally work for the Democratic Party of Arkansas. Using correct expressions and avoiding looking like a bumbling idiot is not a partisan issue.

Uh huh sure, says the troll who thought Kamala being a woman was a detriment 🙄

I didn’t say it was a detriment. I said it was the reason. You’d understand the difference if you weren’t stupid.

And I literally work for the PA House Democratic Caucus. Everybody uses turns of phrase, and it doesn’t take away from the meaning. Your arguing of semantics is probably a deterrent and why your state flipped from mostly blue to hard red in the past dozen-or-so years.

No, the reason my state turned red is because the people here are racist as fuck and religious as fuck. It’s not complicated. Maybe we should take the Pennsylvania approach and start nominating Republicans to run as Democrats.

The point is anyone looks like an idiot when they misuse expressions. Every time you use one, you have to choice to use it correctly or not. It takes the same amount of effort, either way. If someone chooses the stupid route, they shouldn’t be surprised when they learn they look stupid.

As for you, if you don’t think she lost that election 99% because she was running against a man in a deeply misogynistic country, I don’t know what to tell you. I have some bridges in San Francisco to sell you, though.

The point still stands that “could care less” is a valid and understood phrase in American English which is synonymous with “couldn’t care less.” Also, Fetterman was a fairly progressive politician before his stroke. As mayor of Braddock, he was insanely transformative for the town and brought lots of investment. As Lt. Gov. he worked to legalize recreational pot and was an LGBTQ+ ally.

Just because his stances flipped doesn’t take away from what he did in his first two positions. I’d rather work a job in a competitive legislative district in a competitive swing state than work a “feel good, do nothing” job in deep red Arkansas

It isn’t a valid anything, no many how many ways you try to say it. We’ve won every local election I’ve been a part of for three years. Arkansas is red, but the cities that matter here haven’t voted Republican since Reagan. Arkansas has no chance to go blue. Meanwhile we watched Pennsylvania drop the ball in front of the entire world.
