Love how liberals simply do not understand what this means. It’s mostly just ending overconsumption and promoting sustainable living 😭 like dude this is what the real hippy dippy people, not the yuppie kind, have been talking about for decades. It’s not the fringe leftist thing it’s portrayed as, it’s just that over the past ~10 years companies have established a narrative that ending climate change is somehow possible with only superficial and small changes and general emissions reductions 😭

Like also unlike the general media informs people outside of deep dive docuseries, climate change isn’t the only threat. Soil degradation, ocean acidification, habitat loss, waste buildup and more are all important problems which aren’t solved simply be decreasing emissions obviously 💀
