Why did the owner of the WTC buildings, Israeli-American dual citizen Larry Silverstein, who NEVER missed a day of work, increase the insurance on the buildings and then call off the morning of 9/11/01? He ended up profiting over $5bil. Lucky Larry!

Ppl don’t sign 99 year leases on buildings they know will be destroyed. The insurance payout went to rebuilding the World Trade Center

Larry Silverstein is not a citizen of Israel. He’s from Brooklyn

I’m open to blaming Israelis for it but I think there needs to be more concrete evidence

Not saying he knew when he signed the lease but he definitely knew before it happened.

Lucky Larry never missed a day of work, so why did he decide to call off that morning?

Idk where the idea that he never missed a day of work comes from, but he also didn’t even always work at the WTC

Like I see where you’re getting at but surely someone would’ve said something. He owns a very large company it’s not like he’s one dude in an office running the entire thing

I’d be open to it too but there’s too many holes for it to sit right with me

He’s not even Israeli. He’s just Jewish. But people now say “Israeli” about American Jewish people so it sounds less antisemitic, because it sounds like “oh I’m blaming the Israeli government”

Is he Zionist? Because honestly I can see how being Jewish could still lead you to doing things in the interest of the Israeli state, especially if you’re in a powerful position in society

Two things can be true: the Israelis the the American government funded and encouraged generations of extremism for their own gain, which caused 9-11(along with other attacks), which was also funded by Jewish Americans in powerful positions, but that doesn’t mean every Jewish businessman is a Israeli spy. Coincidence also happens. Just bc they encourage the Israeli state doesn’t mean they’re the ones causing extremist attacks. It’s a consequence perhaps. But I also don’t know enough about him
