No that was one of the multiple fights, it’s called the Civil War. Because I’m not a member of the Confederacy, the fight was NOT for slavery

Unless I’m confusing your intentions here.. what was the fight for, then? You may not be part of the confederacy, but that’s because it doesn’t exist anymore. They lost, even if their daughters may have put in decades of work to propagandize future generations towards their cause.

The Union was not ~for~ slavery, the Union was on the opposite side of that conflict. It’s more complicated than I’m making it, but the United States is not the Confederacy, and fought for civil rights by fighting against slaveries.

AH, apologies!!! I did indeed mistake your intentions, that’s my bad! I mistook your quoted post as an extension of the original one (as if you were responding to OP saying what conservatives are trying to “conserve”, like in favor of the confederacy) But that was silly of me in hindsight, sorry OP!
