Okay, I’ll answer: No, I am not in favor of the WNBA passing a trans-exclusion rule. Because it has never once come up, so passing one in the absence of any material reason to do so would amount to absolutely nothing. Wasting the league’s time. It would JUST be kowtowing to the right’s culture warriors, and nothing else.

i watch tennis and now the womens tennis (wta) has started to make pushes against trans women, and its supported by the #1 in the world atm. ive watched tennis for ~17 years now, and its crazy that there has never once been a story about trans people playing professionally, not even collegiate iirc. its a nonexistent issue, just a political statement attacking a minority group that wasnt involved. it sucks bc some players i thought would oppose it havent.
