i live in iowa. do i need to participate in the election tmr? im not really sure what its for and google isnt helping. pls dont judge this is a genuine question

i would look at your local county’s board of elections, they should have a “find your polling place” thing and hopefully a ballot explainer

Actual midterms aren’t until November 2026, the importance of tuesdays elections will pretty much be of local and maybe state importance depending on the election happening
