Yeah. Last I heard the baby was expected to stabilize, but odds are they won’t make it to adulthood. Children born in that state often require excessive care, and the number of families that are willing and able to support a child like that are few and far between. We’ll see what happens, I’m hoping for the best but with budget cuts who knows.

That poor baby that was forced to grow inside of a corpse. He’ll be lucky if he’s able to even live long enough to understand the concept of a mom or to be able to mourn how his moms corpse was abused

That lady was unfortunate to be in the situation to what happened and the baby as-well. I wish both the lady and baby could have been in a better situation but it’s saddening to see things couldn’t have been handled differently, the baby now has to deal with the disabilities they might develop and the mom lost her life and cannot raise her baby, it really is a shitty world sometimes

The mom was actively decomposing as doctors were unable to consider any other options than keeping her body alive to incubate a 9 week old fetus due to georgias abortion laws pertaining to pregnancy and fetal personhood even though every patient has the right to refuse medical care.
