Not only this but there’s a recent clip of him telling a high school senior wanting to go to college for political journalism to “Get a Mrs degree instead” which is basically just a way of saying she should go to college for the sole purpose of finding a husband. Justification was that she’s in her “peak attractiveness stage” It’s pretty disgusting

If you want some perspective from people on his side, it’s not about hating Juneteenth or that no one should celebrate it. The holiday was nationalized for political Pity points in their eyes, not to actually celebrate what it represents and the people It does.

I see zero problem with nationalizing a holiday observing when black ppl were no longer property in this country regardless of what anyone thinks the intentions were behind nationalizing it

I think the real reason he said this is because he knows if you spend even 1 semester pursuing a political journalism degree you’ll come out a better and more qualified writer than anyone at TPUSA

That’s… how holidays get made? It’s because of the people celebrating it that it received the attention to be a federal holiday. It’s all the local city and state parades for it. I might sound like an unc right now, but my city was one of many that celebrated before it was a national holiday. The reaction online was always some of the most racist commentary you could imagine, even before it was a holiday.
