It's still a sign that maybe you should rethink your values regardless. You're surrounded by very educated people and if they believe something that's probably a sign for you to follow.

Being in college I'd expect you to be above the surface level brainwashing and bullshit they're putting you through. They don't care about you and I think that's pretty obvious. Just use your brain bro.

Not just that but above all else you share a country with people who care about you and voting Republican you're actively stabbing your community and your country in the back. This presidency has showed you very clearly that Republicans only care about Christians. Our country used to be for everyone. If you stand for traditional values you believe that immigration is a requirement for a functional society.

This isn’t the argument you think it is. Vast majorities of people have supported terrible things throughout history, the nazis were voted into power for example—with much of German intelligentsia in the academy being for it. The German academy was by the metrics substantively ahead of ours by pretty much every metric. “Education” is often propaganda, and not always commensurate with morality

To be clear: I don’t really agree with people who purport themselves to be conservative on much in my experience, but to say that the majority of people in college supporting something makes it right is just a bad argument; most people at college are idiots
