To be fair, we are in the middle of a war. I’m sure the US doesn’t want to say publicly to their adversary “hey your attack worked and injured our soldiers! Please don’t do it again!”

Please recognize that any announcement to the American public is also an announcement to Iran. Is it imperative that all Americans know the exact timing of every single injury? Probably not. Is it more important that Iran doesn’t know the success of their missile firings? Will they likely not shoot more cruise missiles at our troops if they think the first one was unsuccessful? Maybe. I’d take protecting service members over daily injury updates.
