There are definitely less mosquitoes than when I was a kid. I know that’s anecdotal but I don’t care because it is concerning that I can see it on the micro level to this degree

we are seeing climate related disasters all over the place too. i mean india has it so bad, and... that was foreseen! poorer countries in the global south were known to be way more at risk, and we will be seeing, if we havent already seen, climage refugees

you can’t claim to care about the environment or biodiversity if you can’t realize every animal on earth plays an important role, even if said animal makes your life slightly more inconvenient!
