the meat industry accounts for 14% of TOTAL GLOBAL EMISSIONS. that is NOT a negligible amount. the meat megacorps are one of the most powerful industries in the world. you are not immune to their propaganda tactics.

that’s true. i think we should still push for both. the finnish government predicts that every major ecosystem will collapse within our lifetimes, so we are kind of running out of time here. and that’s not even accounting for any crazy, unpredictable thing trump may do.

No arguments here. I will say that I do still desire to have some animal meat in my diet, due to some health concerns I have, but I do think that we have way too much infrastructure into animal meat processing.
