I am so terrified by the prospect of cities becoming drowned. When entire nations, entire mega cities of millions of people are lost to the sea, what do you think will change? Most of the world’s mega cities are in coastal regions in developing nations.

Fuck. I wouldn’t doubt it. There are already an increasing trend of slaver ships with Papuan nationals abducting people in the atolls of neighboring country for enslavement in fishing.

Slavery is still very prevalent worldwide. Look to the Tunisian state’s involvement in shipwrcking as a means to capture refugees to sell for as little as ninety Euros in neighboring Libya. I fear for my Tunisian friend
