There’s plenty of good country music if we’re talking older stuff: Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Dolly Parton, Loretta Lynn, Patsy Cline. Can’t stand 90% of the new stuff though

I like country music but it’s the artist political views that make it wary like I loved this one country singer but he’s a racist and he’s pretty open about it so it’s like damn

Good country like Johnny Cash is one thing. The repetitive stuff I hear loop on the radio constantly is completely different. They play a lot of Jason Aldean and I can’t get over how the “try that in a small town” guy grew up in Macon Georgia and the Miami suburbs. I’m from a smaller town than him and I’m not from a small town.
