That’s why Newsom has been growing on me. “If Texas gerrymanders, I’m gonna make it look tame compared to what i’m gonna do to Cali” seemed to piss trump off 😭

Look here if they want things done cleanly they’re going to have play fair. Republicans aren’t going to play fair, this is going to get messy cause that means Dems won’t either.

I’m slightly split on this because I would absolutely not support Dems defying courts or Congress, despite some progressives’ demands to do so. If we did that, we wouldn’t have a leg to stand on when criticizing republicans for doing the same

the SC is utterly illegitimate. doing the right thing matters more than the law because the other side doesn’t believe in the law. our moral superiority doesn’t derive from us playing by the rules but because our beliefs aren’t fucking evil. democrats need to drag this country forward by any means necessary necessary
