Refreshingly sane take, there’s a very weird little subgroup of vaguely right/center folks who want to dunk on solar/wind and blab about nuclear superiority all the time but they never really have any technical points to back up their claims

My only issue with solar is most of the wealthiest people I know on both ends of the political spectrum don’t use it for their homes/assets which tells me they know something and aren’t telling us. Especially their costal property which you figure would get the most sunlight. Doesn’t make sense they push it on the commoners but don’t use it themselves.

I actually very much love nuclear and I hope it could supply >95% of energy someday, but I think we should be using every tool we have to transition to green energy as fast as possible to keep the planet from changing too much. Like I said, every year counts!
