Just a reminder that being undocumented isn’t even a felony you can be arrested for, it’s a fineable misdemeanor that the right has lied into saying it’s worthy of arrest. What ice is doing is unlawful and an abuse of power.

That also isn’t true, the majority of deportations under Biden did not have a criminal background. And Obama sat at around 40%

Wow, that’s a scary thought. Ok I’ll do a bit more research, sorry about that I was on the article about what is essentially deportation without a trial.

There’s an article about “Speed over Fairness” under Obama by the ACLU. Obama (and every president after) was a big user of expedited removal. The difference was that Obama focused on people with criminal records or no roots in the country
