when you have thousands of people throwing all kinds of shit like fireworks at you and breaking into stores and cars stealing stuff and then setting everything on fire, do you really believe that is peaceful and that nothing will be done? there’s consequences for breaking the law, like a speeding ticket for example. You break the law, you have a consequence. i refuse to believe that anyone can look at videos of the riots and genuinely think “thats a peaceful protest.”

Except the issue with Jan 6th isn’t really the gallows, it was the attempt to stop the certification of the electoral college vote, which was basically commanded by the president
