Realistically, the 250 year cycle has passed its end point here in America, so a Caesarean figure will likely arise. That will not likely be Trump in my opinion, since he’s not that kind of figure really. It could be someone connected to him through, perhaps his successor, or perhaps Baron Trump (that’s just a wild guess). Regardless, once the right vs left struggle ends, likely with the right as victor, due to the growth of the right and the active self-purification/self-purging of the left
Once it ends (the struggle), what will be left will be very chaotic and unpredictable, and so the figure will more than likely presume himself to be some kind of restorer of the republic, so to speak, similar to Augustus. But ultimately they will be an emperor-esque figure. As for whether there will be a Caesar before there is an Augustus, that’s not knowable for sure, but it would make sense.
I don’t think Trump will be Caesar. Also, in Rome, as massive as it was, Augustus couldn’t rule it solely by himself, especially not during his time period, it would be a logistic nightmare. Rome was ultimately some form of an autocratic oligarchy. My point being, similar to Rome, America would likely be run similar to that
Also, the process generally goes from Caesar, then to Augustus. That is, an establishing de facto imperial figure who lays the foundation, who is then succeeded by a more de facto/ de jure mix of an imperial figure. In Romes case, Caesar, and then his son Octavian (Augustus). In our case, hard to say
