The issues are different than the other issues, also ppl in the other hotlines may have biases against lgbtq+ ppl. A specific hotline for lgbtq+ ppl makes sure that they can get the care they need because it takes different skills than that off something else. Also, sometimes ppl use the hotlines to talk about lgbtq+ issues, not necessarily su*cide but related issues that are similarly affecting them and could lead to more serious me tal health issues.
