Then again, people don’t understand what the age of consent means. It doesn’t mean that so if they do something just let them go to jail for it. These conversations never go anywhere because everyone thinks age of consent means once you’re at that age you can just fuck whoever you want no matter what but that’s not what it does. Sexual abuse of teens is a totally separate issue at hand and why education and prevention programs would do more harm reduction than changing the age

They already did. Just state your case. Denmark and Slovenia are 15. Bulgaria, the Netherlands, Ireland, Norway, and Portugal are 16, like much of the US. According to the screenshot you provided and they replied to. What is your grand idea to do about this? Like I said before these conversations never go anywhere. That is more important than what the actual age of consent is.
