ah yes toasters sure will make the hundreds of thousands of people whose lives are ruined by medical debt every year feel better. and all the people working themselves into early graves. and the massive number of homeless. and so on. we are the richest nation in history, yet the vast majority of our population sees none of it. instead it’s hoarded by a few thousand people who effectively rule the country. no law or limit applies to them in any way, and they have never done real work.
