Well I live in a major blue metro with one of the highest national minimum wages it’s still fucking unaffordable and has a high number of people on welfare programs. It’s almost like throwing money at something isn’t an actual solution, especially when it’s not your money.

would you care to address the rest bc it seems like you know the rest of your post is full of shit. also people living in poverty aren’t just lazy, they probably work twice as hard as you do to stay above water. maybe if you spent time speaking with them about their lives and the things they fear and value, you might have a better understanding of them as humans who need compassion. you aren’t better than they are and you could just as easily find yourself in need in the future
