Just don’t listen? 😂 You’re such a fucking idiot. It’s those who DO listen that are a problem. What would not listening do? It isn’t just the fact that people are offended by differences in subjective positions. It’s the fact that spreading these opinions can cause material harm to society, especially marginalized demographics.

Buddy, try to draw a conceptual distinction between "spewing hate" and "sharing an opinion." I dare you. You either have to take it to the extreme and acknowledge that we have to respect Nazis even though giving them an inch might lead to the next Holocaust, OR you have to acknowledge that one’s "opinions" and "beliefs" are NOT a trivial reason for people to lack complete empathy for a person.

because they don’t have an audience comprised of equal parts loyal absolutists and antithetical dissidents. he was bound to be attacked bro that’s the point people are trying to make. it’s not wishing death on him to say that there were elements of his speech that could clearly inspire violence against him. him ACTIVELY calling for the bail and pardoning of the Paul Pelosi attacker, for example. he didn’t deserve it but he did a LOT of things to prompt it, it wasn’t just him expressing ideas.

Bro let’s be realistic, Charlie’s political views and quotes would’ve been a red flag for an HR department. I don’t condone him being killed, but stricter gun regulation laws could’ve prevented this from happening and ironically he was debating against that
