Christianity radicalized me! I wouldn’t call myself Catholic now but I went to Catholic school and learned to love everyone and care for the sick and the poor and I’ve always carried that with me. Idk how so many “Christians” missed the message
“What radicalized you?” Idk bro I learned basic empathy when I was like 6 years old so there’s that

I dislike the church as an organization due to corruption and abuse cover ups, but catholicism is pretty cool, as are pretty cathedrals and fun color coded clerical outfits.

I’m a Methodist. Say what you will about the recent decisions regarding opening the pulpit to homosexual pastors (there’s probably less than 5 in the whole country anyway), but we were taught that our church is open, our altar is open, and anyone “right with the lord” may partake in our communion. We turn away no one. This on top of the Christian talk of empathy, has led me to be “radicalized” and “woke” now, since I actually LISTENED in Sunday School.

Same!!! It’s insane that I grew up to actually care about people and my catholic parents don’t like that all of the sudden lmao

the answer to your question btw is that evangelical protestantism is basically a fake religion. they worship capitalism and money more fervently than they do christ.

TL:DR, I am accepting of other types of people, want to help people, and don’t actively want to ruin peoples lives, because I actually listened in church.
