This new millennium has brought disaster after disaster. We’ve seen the worst terrorist attack on U.S. soil in 2001, the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression, the worst pandemic since World War I, and we saw Trump become president twice.

Yep, things were going well in the 50s and 60s with rising incomes, an affluent middle class, but then we decided to start electing conservatives and taxes on the wealthy were pushed way down, the middle class shrank and our jobs were offshored
