This won’t get any attention in this group but I could low key see myself becoming a Republican if they kill the maga movement and become more socially liberal like the center right parties in Europe

It’s not anti Republican and never has been for me. It’s always been anti MAGA. Republicanism has no issues if it’s done correctly by an empathetic, educated, sane leader. But fuck Trump.

Lowkey yeah tho and I think a lot of people would agree. I could never vote maga but honestly democrats hitching their wagon to immigrant, trans rights, and other stuff like that is exhausting sometimes. Its not really surprising they lost to trump when they focus on that

The democrats are equivalent to the center right parties in Europe in economics. The primary difference is immigration policy.

In fact many of the center right parties in Europe favor complete socialized healthcare so the dems are probably more right on that issue.
