I’m not a Christian anymore, but holy shit if I was I’d be setting up a new denomination at this point to get away from every republican. It’s crystal clear that millions of them didn’t understand what Christ was preaching

Atheist here. I do feel terrible for the minority of Christians who actually care about following Christ who have to deal with constantly being humiliated by the mainstream Evangelical political project. Constantly distancing yourself from them has to be exhausting.
