Well the administration has pretty consistently made it clear that they see being publicly brown or trans and working class as hurting Americans, so no we actually didn’t ignore that at all.

Are you kidding me right now? Have you just not been around or had your head in the sand? They are LITERALLY arresting people for being too brown or too trans. That is the immigration enforcement policy of DHS at this time.

They require immigrant documents to reflect sex assigned at birth and regard any discrepancy from that as fraud. DHS has literally no means of enforcing this other than profiling. There aren’t very many trans people foolish or brave enough to come here right now from abroad, so I’m unaware if it’s happened yet but this has been their official policy since April.
