I mean let’s be serious here the country WAS created in these values systems, and none other. You CAN separate the church side of it and the morals part of it, but it’s undeniable that it’s true.

Yes, but just because it provided a foundation 300 years ago doesn’t mean this country should still be carrying these values unedited into the future. You are correct, but got downvoted because those values are not what’s keeping the country going anymore.

I think that’s just categorically false. Yes, over time people have become less religious, but you can’t pretend that you have the same morality system as an Arab nation for example. It’s deeper than that, so ingrained it’s not even religious at this point
