Hey so even if you’re in the US illegally you still have a right to a fair and safe deportation, which DOESN’T include being hunted down by a quasi-gestapo and getting arrested at courthouses Obama deported millions and didn’t need terror to do it

I actually think deporting people instead of giving them a path to citizenship is bad regardless of party

I 100% agree that a more clear and comprehensive path to citizenship is the best solution, the confusion and downright awful way in which the system is set up is why people are coming into the country illegally in the first place

What would your solution be? At a first glance I feel a little anxious about allowing just anyone who manages to step foot into the country to begin the process of becoming a citizen (not because of who would come but rather the sheer volume of people who would do it), but I’m open to learning more about how this could be done effectively and fairly and the positive impacts it could have

Yeah so you deal with that by fixing the system instead of just putting a bandaid on the problem by deporting people. Obama didn’t do that, so fuck him. Not to sound like a conservative but he did literally build cages soooo

I mean, realistically, it’s not like they’re more likely to be shittier people than natural born citizens. And if they are shitty people, they should be tried under us law like citizens, because every human, regardless of citizenship status, deserves equal human rights.
