fun fact: what was coined the “Summer of Soul” in 1969 Harlem, New York, there was a summer concert series ongoing while the first moon landing was happening. Find the film by Questlove and watch it. Great historical representation of that period & the social perspective from Black Americans at the time — from both attendees and performers!!
