As someone who lives in a rural area SURROUNDED by windmills it pisses me so off 1) we don’t care about the scenery filed farmers will literally tear down a patch of 5 trees just to get a little more space 2) the companies pay well enough to put them on peoples land it’s gone political…like my dad is mad at some people cause he didn’t get one while other people got more than one 3) they’re not a nuisance the worst part was the installation (which lasted a summer and was years ago)

can we simultaneously make fun of this idiot and also acknowledge that wind farms are far from an ideal energy source?

i lived near the biggest wind farm in the US and tbh. they aren’t great. aesthetic arguments aside, they just don’t last long. every summer they’d haul in those massive fins to replace windmills that had become defunct. if they had any sort of longevity it would make sense but you spend more resources building and maintaining them than the green energy they produce

It’s simply corporate planet pillagers mocking the environmental movement and how it cares for animals like whales. Don’t give it too much thought

Magnet motors could solve the problems. The guy from my town that made a water powered car mysteriously died
