1. black drivers are more likely to be pulled over, searched, or arrested than white drivers, which is why their rate of having illicit items is lower. 2. Targeting policing and prosecution strategies result in different arresting and charging rates. Poverty is far more predictive for crime than race, what policy are you advocating for

i am not advocating for any policy and i agree that poverty is more predictive of crime than race (which is a social construct anyway). I didn’t mean for this to imply that I thought otherwise
