If you support killing people you aren't pro life Pope Leo said so

No, the right to self defense (if you're trying to analogize it with abortion a better way would be to say it's like if the mother's life were in danger)

Good point! Just wanting to ya know make sure the logic was sound across the board

For sure and in line with that analogy I support any abortion where the mother's life is in danger but not every situation where the choice is made electively (as I would with murder).

cool how you’ll define your life being in danger as someone on your property without consent but you don’t define something, not *even* a someone, being in a person’s actual body without consent as a threat to their life

Rape is physical violence, trespassing and committing no other crime is a land issue

Good point. Non lethal self defense arms like beanbag rounds, pepper spray, tasers should all be available too. I don't support killing anyone besides to directly and immediately protect your own life.

Statistically you'll never have to shoot someone. Even lower odds that you'll get away with it with no conviction. 9/10 when someone pulls the trigger there's something else that could've been done or someone made a poor decision that lead to it.

Still doesn't mean it shouldn't be an option. Some studies say it stops 550 rapes per day and 2.5 million crimes annually

Most self defense incidents are just that, accidents. Last year someone shot their kid for entering their home around Christmas time because of a surprise visit. Earlier this year someone tried to Kill a bird in their house by shooting it but shot their daughter and killed her.

You cannot discount the innocents who die for this "right". Innocent people die to gun violence every day.

People are shit for road rage. People are shot hunting. People die from guns exploding. People die simply by existing in public places. Guns hurt people. Guns shouldn't have rights. If guns were people you'd want them all deported.

These are in the vast minority of gun deaths. People die working, driving, eating, walking and all types of ways but that doesn't mean that we should take this edge case and say it's extremely common

Guns should be classified by classes. Classes that should be regulated differently depending on what it is.

Also how are you going to be so elitist about your views when you're pushing unattainable goals with UBI, an ever changing class system for guns based on "whats going on" (that sounds like a fucking nightmare legally), and literally want to ban the majority of guns in use right now?
