man, for the absurd amount of money we spend on the military, it’s REALLY concerning how much news out of Iran right now is just variants of “we have a very limited supply of this and we just used up 3 years of production/iran just destroyed 10% of them”

The US Military has always prepared for a symmetrical war with another global power like China. Unfortunately we haven’t adapted to this new age of warfare with low-cost, high-volume drone attacks. We are way too slow to adapt and change.

It’s called ‘Manufacturing consent’, they have to give people a valid reason to wrap up the war and keep pressuring military presence. In reality the supply chain won’t heal even if it ends today. Don’t trust state sponsored media. Stay skeptical

So most of the news coming out of Iran rn is fake as hell, the only us aircraft losses in aware of have been friendly fire, and there’s absolutely no way Iran has destroyed a THAAD battery because,1 destroying an entire battery would require multiple precision munitions evading air defenses and scoring direct hits and 2 THAAD was designed for significantly higher velocity threats than most of irans ballistic missiles and is not being used for the vast majority of these interceptions
