Not even after a certain point. Like sure I’ll be mad but I’ll never point a laugh at poor rural people dying because they were duped into supporting evil parties and figures. It’s a terribly sad situation and the fact they live in la la land in their heads and can’t put two and two together is even sadder

It probably helps that I’m surrounded by the rural idiots. They’re not idiots. They’re indoctrinated, but they should know better, they’re adults. Like I feel bad for the German citizens indoctrinated too. But not… thaaaat bad.

Like I’m one of those poor rural people, I just escaped the grasp of those ideologies (and partly bc I was othered bc I’m gay) but like I grew up amongst these people yknow. And when liberals get all elitist it’s really revealing about them too.

I’m not saying we should sympathize with Nazis or Nazism, but we need to recognize that people can be severely mislead and misguided. There are genuinely evil people who know exactly what fascism is and fascists are and they very much want fascism but that is not most people.
