I mean social media is not healthy for anyone, and COPPA has existed in some form or another for quite some time now.

Now I vehemently disagree with taking away anyone’s personal liberties, but when there is evidence that gamified platforms cause developmental issues and increase risk of addiction, that is when regulation should step in and start hearing from SME’s and public forums.

I do, and there’s another thing to be said for the emancipation of someone who’s being forced by the state to assume the other responsibilities of adulthood and parenthood. I think one of the more interesting things is that Texas still thinks that “you don’t fuck with Texas” because clearly they’re the testing grounds for MAGA policy.
