Once again, Obama renovating an outside area (The Tennis Court) is not the same as Trump tearing down part of a historical building to add a tacky Trump plaza knockoff ball room
This isn’t a political take- he took a wall down to add a ball room, the preexisting parts of the White House are staying. Obama added a basketball court, trumps adding a ball room- both social additions. There’s a lot more important things to argue abt.

The White House has been renovated by many including gutting the east wing for a bowling alley. Ur just hating cause it’s Trump not cause you actually care abt the White House or its history.

Isn't it also supposed to be approved by Congress

Trump used the same loophole Obama did, funded by private donors and altering preexisting structures.

A court is different than tearing down the walls to build a giant ass ballroom

Why do you care so much about it, the east wing is the most modified part of the White House. It’s not with tax payer money and future presidents can do wtv they please with it. Your Jsut complaining to complain

I'm complaining because it's yet another example of trump not following the law

Obama did the same thing, ur just spitting nuanced info to validate yourself. “It’s different” it’s either legal or it’s not. Ur just beating around the bush. Like congress would say no in the first place, it’s privately funded.

Who cares what Obama did? That was almost two decades ago.

Well, way to throw all ur credibility away in a single response- I guess once enough time passes the crime doesn’t matter.

No it's just a whataboutism. Just because someone got away with a potential crime before doesn't mean it's ok now
