Pretty sure that’s not the biggest difference in lethality between a 22 rifle and an AR-15

An ar15 shoots a .22 caliber projectile

I hear you, but if you think the bullet on the left is a .22 you really need to do more research.

My point is a semi automatic war rifle is very different from a bolt action hunting rifle

What if I put a bolt charged upper on the ar15

Semi automatic weapon of war ar15 compared to a gun with 2 speeds of automatic fire rate and no semi automatic that shoots a way bigger round than 556

5.56 is a 22 caliber bullet. Look it up.

And I think you need to look up the difference between left and right.

That doesn’t mean 556 isn’t a 22 caliber bullet. I’m not getting your point.

I was pointing out to the OP that the bullet on the *left* very clearly is not a .22 LR (commonly referred to as simply .22) bullet. Given that OP was snarkily remarking that there are greater differences between bolt action and semi-auto rifles, but demonstrated a lack of basic knowledge about guns, my comment was a snide recommendation to do more research before trying to weigh in. Upon which you decided to reply to my comment that the 5.56x45 is .22 caliber, for some reason.

In case you need further clarification: Nowhere did I ever make a mistake about what caliber a 5.56x45 bullet is, nor did I give an indication of it, but you seem to be operating under the impression that I do not know this rather basic fact. Despite the fact that I can read and have access to the other comments you made which point this out, as well as having prior knowledge on the subject.
