People aren’t trying to replace white people! All that is happening is people are trying to have opportunities as well. Now there are just blind screening practices for resumes and shit so that maybe people who aren’t white may get further along than they did before. So you have more competition. If before it was only 1 to 10 resumes now it may be 4 to 7 simply because there was some bias based on a name or demographic info that is now excluded.

What you’re describing is lack of assimilation which is different than replacement (which OP and #1 weee talking about). There’s definitely a discussion there. However, people generally complain about “replacement” of white people when discussing “DEI hires” or affirmative action.
