Im saying we shouldn’t use physical traits to attack others, even when it’s coming from a place of hypocrisy and I’m using Candace Owen’s as an example of that being correct. Since you’re unable to refute my point, you’re just going to keep calling me a Republican and hyper fixating on me using that as an example. It’s why you all ignored the relevant example of ICE being called the n word.
And why is that, when both the agent and candace are hypocritical in that area? It feels like you have special rules because you don’t think it’s that damaging to be mocked for being fat or for your links, and because of that, you decided for my community what I am allowed to be comfortable with. I think it’s racist to use the n word, and I listen to the black community for what THEY think. You don’t respect anyone in any of my communities and don’t value our perspective. That’s the differen
Then how can I make my point at all when you guys repeatedly tell me I’m not allowed to have an opinion about my community being attacked for the way we look or the things we want? What analogy would have been socially acceptable to make that you guys wouldn’t have just called me stupid for? You guys are just mean and dogpiling on me
You have to be insane. I can say how much I hate Trump, but just because I say we should chill out about physical comments you guys have latched onto this narrative about me being a Republican so you can dogpile me and ignore everything I said. If not wanting to be called fat makes me not a democrat, then I don’t want to be a democrat. Not everyone who disagrees with you is a republican. This isn’t like middle school.
Because let’s not forget, it’s not like the ICE Agent JUST got called the n-word. The word “house” was in front of it. Which is an insult that I think Black people get to use when they see another Black person tap-dancing for the white man in a way that sells out other Black people and other minorities. I just don’t think white people get to say that shit.
I don’t think white people should either. I don’t understand why that means people are allowed to mock others for being fat, when they’re not in that community. You all, if you’re not fat, don’t get a vote in what we think. Why are you insisting that I don’t get a say in my community?
As someone who’s had revenge porn of themself in a compromising position spread and made fun of - you’re right. I will never see the humor in that. I will never support people who justify revenge porn. I know you guys think it’s funny to piss off someone you guys have deemed as some hateful fascist, but I just cannot see the humor in a situation that a similar one almost made me commit suicide, no matter how awful he is as a person.
Okay, see, that’s what we call projection. It’s awful that those things happened to you, I’m sure nobody here would claim otherwise. But you are only one person, and a stranger to all of us. If I had to craft every single giggle I let out around sensitivity to every possible trauma of all 8 billion people on this rock, then I’d never laugh again. You can’t expect everything to always conform to your own relatively unique lived experiences, even when those experiences are objectively horrible.
I just don’t think those experiences are that unique. I cannot see a scenario in which using those things to mock someone does not, in some way, contribute the the social situations that caused my situation. It is feeding that very beast that reinforces it’s okay to expose that stuff if YOU objectively determine that person is morally bad in some way. The jokes are one thing - the social norm is reproducing is another, and I will never agree that that reproduction is anything but harmful.
