Dude they overturned Roe V Wade, instituted massive entitlement cuts and huge tax cuts for the wealthy, have severely backslid the country on LGBTQ+ rights, blown up scientific research, ended climate change initiatives, gave a billion dollars to ice, and more! I think you’re misunderstanding what I’m saying then. Yes, I’m well aware of how bad and how easy it is for republicans to pass anything they want right now. I don’t think it’s a good thing at all. The erosion of our democracy is not something to take lightly. One party utilizing that to their advantage shouldn’t mean that the other party has to as well. All that serves to do is accelerate the downfall of America.

I see. While I’d agree given the options of a conservative held govt and democratic held government that the dems would be marginally better - I do not think that this is the way for America to go. We’re already rapidly approaching an authoritarian state. I don’t want to have that happen, regardless of which party would end up being the authoritarian
