Because not voting only serves to work against your own interests. State and local races are some of the most important races in the country. They’re the ones that impact your home turf more directly. You choosing not to vote doesn’t do anything, it doesn’t help anyone, all it does is create space for someone like MAGA to take your space and vote on your behalf.

Early voting exists, voting by mail exists, ballot places usually run in person for an entire week before polls close. If you’re already making excuses to avoid engaging, then you were never able to be convinced.

Democrats won in 2020 because they actually ran on policy positions, things like student loan forgiveness and the Green New Deal (which Democrats could not even pass bc they cannot even maintain party discipline)
